My name is Daniel Smith and I am the sole owner and designer at dbjaDesign.com. Nestled in the rolling hills of Athens county, dbjaDesign.com offers a creative and economical approach to website design, animated banners and advertising. As a designer, it is important to put the needs of the client first and foremost. As part of the design process, I will personally meet with you to find out what is essential in getting your message out.

My passion for graphic and website design is very rewarding. One of my favorite photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson, coined the phrase “the decisive moment” in which all the elements are framed perfectly at the exact moment in time. My design philosophy is similar to Cartier–Bresson in as much as taking all the elements of communication and combine them into a easy to read, visually stimulating package.

With over 20 years of experience in the newspaper industry as a graphic designer and photojournalist I offer a great deal of resources to get your message out. By combining these disciplines and experience I can offer you, the client, a keen eye for composition as well as attention to the details that will get your business noticed!
